THANKSGIVING 2006 |

The Clements family came for Thanksgiving, and
the Tech-UVa game the following Saturday. Here are a few pictures. First, Chrsten and Kathy with Jimmy and Sarah in the kitchen:  Kathy posing by the dining-room table:  Kathy studying the turkey:  A couple of views of the turkey and the wines (a 2003 Meursault Charmes and a 1997 Brunello riserva).   Sarah enjoying a Pepsi during cocktail hour:  Sarah and Mac said the blessing, although it looks as if Sarah is doing most of the praying:  Zeus was on the outside looking in while we were eating Thanksgiving dinner:  Mac loves to pose:  Here he is a couple of days later with his new haircut. (He loves chess and checkers; note the board in the background.)  And he loves the Hokies:   By Friday night we were turkeyed out, so we ate (fresh) fettucini:  Miles looking disinguished with his graying hair and rimless glasses:  Here are a couple of pictures from the Tech-UVA game (Tech 17, UVA 0; Go Hokies!) We tailgated in lot 2:  Part of the brass section of the Marching Virginians then came by to serenade us with a rendition of "Tech Triumph."  |
